iHome unveils new computer accessories

   We've reviewed a few iHome computer speakers in the past, but the company is now making a bigger move into the computer accessories market after signing a licensing agreement with LifeWorks Technology Group.

The new line is expected to launch "this summer," and we've highlighted a couple interesting looking products, the iStand Notebook Media Bundle with an integrated iPod/iPhone dock (US$299.99) and the iConnect Media Keyboard (US$149.99). The Mac version of each is colored silver and white, while the Windows version is black. iHome-branded mice, headsets, and Webcams are also in the works.

    Pomera Digital notebook DM10 electronic notebook may have been bizarre enough to warrant some gentle ribbing last year, but sales in Japan must’ve been good enough for the company to green-light a successor.  The Pomera DM20 keeps the same clamshell keyboard design and monochrome display, together with the singularity of purpose that baffled us last time around: all it’s meant to be used for is recording text notes.

        What’s currently exciting at CES 2009 may be unknown to you, but this ASUS keyboard isn’t. It is a fully functional computer built into a QWERTY keyboard, featuring a wireless HDMI and a mini secondary touchscreen, about 5-inches. Only in the conceptual stage, we ain’t really sure as to what this mesmerizing keyboard will have in offer, but the Eee keyboard concept is highly slick offering an accessible calculator, web browser, calendar, alarm clock and the like, with a large array of ports.
