Nokia Launches its First Mini Laptop

The Booklet is equipped with a 10-inch screen, weighs 2.8 pounds, measures just two centimetres wide and delivers up to 12 hours of battery life.

Unlike most netbooks, Nokia’s Booklet 3G will have both 3G and GPS functionality, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It will also have access to Nokia Music store and Ovi maps.

Its features also include an aluminium chassis, an HDMI port for HD video out, a front facing camera for video calling, and an SD card reader.

The Booklet 3G is powered by an Intel Atom processor, commonly found in the small computers known as netbooks.

Nokia said it would announce the price and availability of its new PC on September 2 at its Nokia World event in Stuttgart.
